Socrates would be proud - writing workshops in Ipsilometopo
It's always a pleasure meeting talented innovative people who come to Lesvos because it inspires their craft!
Some years ago, through a connection, I met Timothy Jay Smith, Author of Cooper's Promise and A Vision of Angels. He's dedicated and persistent and as his bio says, "a make it happen kind of guy!"
This fall and next Spring he will be in Ipsilometopo making Socrates proud by offering his talents to teach A Socratic Conversation on Writing, a three day workshop dedicated to the craft of fiction writing. Participants need to have at least 20 pages of fiction written in order to participate. The workshop is limited to 8 special people and will incorporate the Socratic approach in teaching with a group of writers.
So, for all those novelists, aspiring novelists or writers who want to hone their craft in a special atmosphere this three day workshop is for you! Fall dates are September 21, 22, and 23rd, 2014 and Spring dates are May 31, June 1, and 2nd, 2015.
Why not check out the authenitic village of Ipsilometopo and develop your craft? The island is waiting for it's next inspiration - that could be you?
