The psyche and the collective consciousness are powerful.
After various check-ins with friends over the weekend, laughter is what saved my days. From toilet paper humor to.... what ... you are drinking a corona beer?
Laughter has it's own intoxicating spirit and uplifts your soul!
I don't know about you? But, my house bound existence kicked into survival mode.
I follow, Zoe Moon, www.zoemoon.com, an astrologer, who said, "do something your future self will like."
I quietly reflected upon that and then saw her next post. Friday, March 27th, astrologically speaking was a positive day to begin a garden.
I heard the call.
I scrubbed the front entrance way. This is my workspace where my seeds will germinate. It's really my laundry room, cat space, refrigerator and trash space. It's where the cardinals check-in and bounce off the window. They hang in the euclyptus tree and peck at their reflections.
If you learn to adapt to your environment ~
Anything is possible.
Here's my DIY (Do-It-Yourself) seed preparation for solemn Sunday project. I have high hopes of germination and eventual replant into the garden. My future self is giving my current self a big nod.
The basics ~ cherry tomatoes, classic tomatoes, cucumbers, basil, onions, carrots, zucchinis, red and white romaine lettuce, string beans and red beets. These combined with last year's herb garden slowly making an appearance will be a clean, pandemic free vegetable food source. Cross your fingers, hopefully, we can all enjoy a big broadcast from the 1777 Fisher barn party in the Fall?
Spring is pushing it's way through a solemn Sunday rain. I swiped that from my friend Maisie's social media post. After hearing, Governor Baker's latest and then Governor Cuomo's, I needed the sound of silence to think and a tactile action with my hands to move forward.
What a difference an almost week makes. Last Monday it snowed. Today a solemn rain.
Appreciate what you have.
